Dr. Leone graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1988. In 1990 he founded one of the first multi-specialty pain practices in the county. This practice incorporated MD’s, DC’s, DO’s and PT’s all at one location. More than 20 years later The Spine and Pain Institute continues to be the regions leading pain center. Dr. Leone is a fellow of Chiropractic Orthopedics. He is one of the first chiropractors to be board certified in acupuncture in Ohio and is one of the only Doctors of Chiropractic certified in spinal decompression in the state.
Dr. Leone is an avid fitness and wellness enthusiast and had extensive numerous post-doctoral training in nutrition which has allowed him to develop a nutrition program for SPI. He lectures regularly to the Nurse Practitioner program at Kent State University and holds the position of adjunct professor. Dr. Leone has served on numerous boards and committees in Portage County and Kent since beginning practice.
He is an avid martial artist and holds black belts in Kungfu, karate and weapons training. He also enjoys playing the guitar, golf and fitness training.
